What's a half-dead spirit detective to do? With the help of his trusted allies, Yusuke sets out to Magma Valley to save the person who saved his life while uncovering the mastermind behind the evil conspiracy. Yu Yu Hakusho, a manga and anime cherished for 30 years, is being transformed into a live-action series by Netflix, promising to reignite fan excitement. Chaos in the Spirit World would ensue if someone other than King Enma possessed the seal. However, this position has its setbacks, especially when he's forced to interrupt his summer vacation to save Koenma after he was kidnapped! In order to save Koenma, Yusuke must find and trade the Golden Seal of King Enma. Yusuke is now a half-dead, half-alive agent working for Koenma, who happens to be the son of the Spirit World's ruler. Two demons named Kaoshura and Garuga want Lord Enma’s Golden Seal. The story incorporates Koenma getting kidnapped while on a vacation. It was directed by yours truly, Noriyuki Abe. As a result, he was given a chance to return to the living world through a series of tests, but not before becoming a spiritual detective. The Golden Seal is a 24-minute movie that was released on July 10, 1993, in Japan. Yusuke's name was not listed in the Book of Enma, which meant it was a mistake. However, his noble act of saving a child led to an unfortunate accident that resulted in him being transported to the Spirit World. I generally recommend these to everyone. Personal (some old) favorites that may or may not be like YYH. Some older animes - Flame of Recca, Inuyasha, Shaman King. The big 3 of course (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece) follows a similar formula. Yusuke Urameshi is not your typical angelic figure. I also find it a bit harder to get into compared to YYH.
